Max and me spent our last evening at the balcony bar, a huge balcony overlooking the riverside and a pretty cool place to chill, where Max later forgot his digital camera which was luckily returned to him the next day. People here are just so honest.

Bye bye Battambang
With a successful last application training in Battambang on Thursday,
which was much more intense and hard work because we were less lecturers. Also the students just kept on asking questions, some of them really stupid, which made us fly through the rest of the program to finish in time. Having finished in time the Deputy District Governor, who has no clue what the whole project is about because he was absent all during the day came to deliver a closing speech which had the duration of 30 minutes and the most random content. I guess, the more important you are in this country, the longer you may speak about non important things and bore everybody half to death. Well, he was finally finished and we took off to dinner with the Asia Urbs Master plan team at a beer garden with the greatest khmer Karaoke there is. It was impossible to talk during dinner but we were invited and the food was good so we didn't complain. If you'd like to hear some beer garden singing let m
e know and I'd be glad to put up a wonderful video on you tube.
