Limerick

On Saturday I returned to Limerick, the place where I stayed for 5 months while on Erasmus in 2003. As soon as we arrived there it started to rain, so typical for Limerick. We had lunch at the River Festival, the only time of the year when there's actually something going on in the city, and checked out some of my favorite shops.
We spent the evening bbq-ing at some old friend's house that I hadn't seen for 3 years. It was so cool to have the old MBUL (University of Limerick Mountain Bike Club) team together and catch up with the dudes and dudettes. Happy times.
Darragh had his triathlon organized on the UL campus on Sunday and I cheered him on, carried his bags and did everything a good domestique would have done. He finished in 1:12 and did a great job in unbearably cold weather conditions.
Then it was back to Dublin for a great dinner and a more than shit movie "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg. The movie wasn't too bad, a normal action flick, but the ending just ruined the whole thing.
