After yet another early rise we made our way to the Charles Knife Canyon for an early morning hike seeing no wildlife at all.
We then returned for breakfast and made our way to the airport, almost knocking over an emu which was taking a lunch stroll on the highway. As we were quite early we drove up a gravel road into the Shothole Canyon for an amazing view.
The flight back to Perth was quiet and I finally got into 'inkheart' a children's novel by Caroline Funke.
We hardly had time to check in at the hotel before we had to make our way to Mirabooka Stadium for the first of what was to be three games for the Western Australian Softball Championship. The Morley Eagles were taking on the Southside Mariners. It was another great game with quite a few errors on both sides which Morley won by a good few runs bringing them one step closer to the title.
