Another great day spent in the scorching heat of Fremantle, a seaside town south of Perth. Freo, as it is known by the locals has great indoor markets and lots of artists who perform in the streets.
The afternoon was spent at Scarborough Beach again and the frantic search for an internet connection brought no results. Australia is a tough country.
At 7pm we gathered at the Softball fields as my sister, who has been playing for the Morley Eagles Softball Team for the last 6 months, and her team had to prove that they could do what nobody expected from them: win games against the teams #4 and #2 in the state to then be able to play in the State Final next weekend. Needless to say they made it playing two nail biters and the evening was very enjoyable with BBQ, beer, spectators insulting the umpires etc.
My sister also played in the Western Australian State team and they came third in the Australian Championships last month.
