Very jet lagged from an early morning arrival at 2am we made our way - having encountered my at the moment Perth resident sister - on foot in the lovliest sunshine through Northbridge to find a place to have breakfast.
From there on we took the bus to King's Park and Botanical Gardens where we spent ages lying lazily on the grass and enjoying the view over the Perth Skyline. The Botanical Gardens were quite impressive as well with native plants from all the different regions of Western Australia.
In the evening we met my sister's host family at a Chinese Restaurant and got thoroughly lost in the industrial suburbs of Perth afterwards.
